Ariana Hilborn

Ariana was born in Greendale, WI and received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from ASU. She taught first grade in Tempe and Phoenix for 6 years before leaving to pursue professional running. Ariana worked hard towards her dreams and made the Olympic marathon team in 2016 for Latvia with the help from her coach, family, and teammates.

She is married to her husband, Matt and they have a Black Labrador named Gussie.  Ariana and Matt are now expecting their first child after a marathon of struggles. Ariana enjoys reading, doing crossword puzzles, wine tasting (pre-baby!), traveling, and creating fun culinary dishes. She also teaches Kindergarten full time which keeps her on her toes!

Ariana's favorite races include the Southwest Spine and Sports 15k, Grandma's Marathon, and Twin Cities Marathon. She loves running on the many smooth trails in Phoenix and  Northern Arizona.

Fun Fact

Ariana quit the high school track team three weeks in because she hated running!

Current Goal

Remain healthy and have a healthy pregnancy and delivery. She looks forward to working back to fast after Baby Hilborn is born in June!
